The Journey
I was once a ship making a journey in rough waters, now I know how to sail on calmer waters
I frequently came into port for major repairs, now I only need minor repairs
My ship was always prepared for war, now I sail in peace
I once stayed anchored in fear, now I pull up anchor with courage
I never sailed too far from the comforts of shore, now I have confidence I can control my ship
I once thought the sea had all power, I now see, I too have power over the seas I sail
